Hi, I want to let you know that I made it to contact Teutonen Ritter. We do have his permission for this subforum we created. :) Still, I do have one appeal. :) Would that be possible to create a subsection in downloads section for Stronghold Europe maps? I know I did ask you this before, but I would be grateful if this was enabled, and this way, we would have a chance to present Stronghold Europe in this forum, and hopefully, some more people would work on its development. At least through creating new maps. We could also organize events, when we want to play Stronghold Europe multiplayer games, as it is possible using GameRanger. I know this tread might belong to another category then in this one, but I wrote it here, as it concerns Stronghold Europe. If this would not be possible, I would create another forum for this matter, but I believe that we, Stronghold Nation members, should support this project. Right now, they have their forum in German at Strategy-Zone, but there is no such forum in English. As about downloads section - it could be possible to upload these maps for Stronghold Europe as Stronghold Crusader maps, but that way, it may bring confusion - especially because minimaps of Stronghold Europe maps look almost the same as those ones of Stronghold Crusader. I like the idea of having less colors. :) I have only one suggestion though... I believe it would sound better if "peasants" would be renamed to "free men"? This way we would have all the same, or almost the same, as in Stronghold 2, which would be nice, but it would also fit its need better - peasant and free man were not the same in middle ages, as far as I know, and free man was the one who could be promoted. Hehe, or maybe I'm missing the idea - maybe the point is to motivate someone to become something else other than peasant. :D As about the colors themselves - I like the choices of colors for each rank, it's just fitting right. :)

It is definitely not worth much, so I agree with you. :) I only meant to ask, not knowing if it is easy to implement, or not, but it's certainly not necessity. :)

I wanted to ask, if that would be possible to enable forum members to chose whether to have centered signature, or not? It is not something important, of course, but if that could be easily done, I believe it would be nice. :)

Sorry I didn't make it. I came to GameRanger, but then I saw Chris and Bradley had already started the game. I'm sure we will be able to play some other time. :) By the way, I haven't tried this, but... Is it possible to install a game for only one user (on PC)? Then it would be possible to have 1.3.1 for one user, and 1.4.1 for the other one... But I am almost sure it doesn't work that way... ADDITION: I added Bradley to my friends at GameRanger. :)

It may be possible that I will be unable to play tomorrow. I hope I will be able, but I am telling you this just in case, so you would know. This fits me the best. I would be able to play earlier as well, but then it is possible someone to call me on the phone, and then I would lose connection. :/ Also, it would be possible for anything to interrupt me. But I would be willing to play then - only we would have this rick. :) (I don't say these happen often - only it is possible)

I'd like to say only one thing about this matter. I am sure you wanted the best, but sometimes it's not the best idea to give a link for something like this (purchasing Stronghold 3 on a website). I believe you will agree with me that there is a risk, when someone wants to buy a game on a place like that. I say it because, as far as I understood, you don't buy each game there from a single company - you buy it from individual persons. Therefore, you cannot guarantee that someone would get scratched DVD, or anything like that (as those stuff may not be new there). I believe we all know what traders are. :) When someone wants to sell you a computer, he would tell you how he wasn't using it at all, and such things... After you get the PC, you later notice it's whole different story. :) Maybe cars would be better example... Also - the example with scratched DVD - I know it is not possible when you get a game from Steam, in that case it doesn't matter, but you know what I want to say. At least you would have to tell what it is - for someone it is not instantly clear what that website is. :) As about Stronghold 3... Do you have the latest version of the game?

I'd be happier if we played one of Vetkas maps. :) I don't matter so much about balance, the maps are more ore less balanced, and that is enouh for me. In fact, I like the idea of playing unbalance map - it makes the game only more interesting. :) If Vetka could join us, and play with us, that would be even better. :)

Great, so we have a deal! :) That sounds great! :) Also, if you could create another version of "paths and passages" in which keeps are at least a bit further from the edge, that would be great too. It is the fact that we can do it ourselves, but as we want to play a multiplayer game, I believe it would be the best for one of us to do - and you are the creator of original map. :) I really like the idea of map where one can be attacked from all sides. :)

July 3 fits me nicely. Today and tomorrow I won't be able to play, but I wall be able to play the day later. I hope it will fit Bradley as well, but if not, we could try to figure something out. It's not unfair - like you said to me: it's your event. :) Only here are few of us who want to play the game at the moment, and I hope we can manage to find a time when we can all play together. Off topic, is there autosave in Stronghold 2 as well? Also, I'd like to play a map where we can build whole castle - where the keep is not next to the edge of the map. I have no other wishes. :)

It would be the best if we could all agree when we will all be able to play. We could also change the day, if that would do any good... :) I have one question only... You wrote 18:00 GMT. Do you mean 18:00 in London, or 19:00 in London? :) After reading something about these about timezones, London, and United Kingdom is GMT during winter, and GMT+1 during summer. I'm asking this only because, I don't want us to misunderstand each other, just like it happened to us in my event. By my fault... :D

Hi, I must inform you, I will not be able to play tomorrow. I forgot I have some work to do. Nevertheless, I will be able to play on July 3. :)

I have changed the form a little. The one who organizes the event will also write a town, so if he messes up something with timezones, it would be possible for others to notice something is wrong. I don't say it is necessary, but it can prevent misunderstanding.

I have created another form in the post post, so we could deal when to continue the game. I'm sad that Bradley didn't make it to play with us. I'm sure, that next time we will all be able to play together. :)

I hope I didn't mess up something with these timezones. :/ I meant to play now, when is 19:30 in Belgrade, and I believe I am in GMT+1. :) Maybe I should go back to elementary school, I don't know... EDIT: It seems like Belgrade is GMT+1 during winter, and GMT+2 during summer... I'm sorry. :(

For now it will stay 1.2 (non HD) version. I hope we bradley will manage to solve the problem, so we could play all.

I know almost nothing about regedit. :/ But speaking about what I said - I know it's not as simple as copying files sometimes, but I only mean on it, as a way to check if the DVD reader is the one that makes problems. Also, if it is the case, then you may create an image of the disc using deamon tools, and open the image file on the computer on which you want to install the game. There are also some option in those emulation tools, thanks to which you can open the disc, and the disc to be recognized as original copy. It is a great thing, as it happens to people to damage the disc by those constant inserting into DVD drive...
