On the 31st of May 2014, multiplayer for both stronghold 2 and legends will cease to work as GameSpy are shutting off all remaining servers.

Now our news has been replaced by topics from our announcements forum on our homepage, here is this announcement on stronghold crusader 2.

For each month from now on, the moderation team will take everything into consideration a user does on the site (I.E. Forum Posts, Downloads Submitted, Articles Written.etc) and the user who they believe has put the most effort into helping the site, or has submitted the most things in total, generally, the most active member, will receive the following reward added to their signature: This month, the winner is EaglePrince for his excellent contributions to both our downloads section and our forums. Ok, those have been added thanks :) What about game versions? There will be 1, but any updates? The next step is to organise them so they aren't all over the place and actually have structure...

Stronghold 1 is currently not an option to upload files for in our download central. However, I will add one in for it. But since I have never played the game I do not know what categories to make for it. Would you be able to tell me which game modes exist in it?

As a result of multiplayer no longer working at the end of this month, you can vote on the game you would rather play as the very last one via SHL/SH2 multiplayer. The poll will close on the 30th of may at 5 PM UK time.

I must be honest, I haven't really had much time to look and those that I have found could have been better. There re however some excellent ones built into the game itself: The Snake Dragon Island A couple of other good ones are there as well, I'll show you them in the game.

A stronghold 2 event will take place at 6PM both of these days and they will both have a username of stronghold nations and a password of shnations

Not at all, you post where you want. The worst that will happen is that it gets moved to another forum, and that's not that bad is it? :) Lord Vetka only meant that he would split the topic so you could have your own if you'd rather than having to go through his to get to yours.

Rather than a 'mission', think of it as a scenario, that's how I think of it, a skirmish always has one scenario, whereas a custom war can have as many scenarios as you create for it (each scenario is a mission of it's own) No, there isn't that option at the minute, again just the number of estates. I can understand where you're coming from, a field for all the possible opponents on the map. I will try and add it in at some point (I can't say how long that will be as I'm extremely busy with other stuff at the moment) but it will require slightly more time to do because there isn't a field for it yet so I would have to completely create it from scratch. It certainly would help, I'll give you that. Hopefully some day in the near future I'll add it in.

It always has one mission otherwise you wouldn't be able to play it ;) Even though technically it's not a mission, you can still put that. If you don't want to put 1, there is a Not Applicable option at the bottom as N/A (Miscellaneous only) which you can select if you want. Also, if you can't select the difficulty of the map, select the difficulty of installing the file on your system - not exactly ideal, but I guess you know what I mean until I find a better way to accommodate this. The number of players is different to estates, I agree with you there. But, you have to think which would be the most widely used from all the games we cover. From stronghold 2 peace scenarios or free build, there may not be any other players on the map, and there never are for CivCity Rome. Stronghold 3 is likely to not have as well, and the same for Stronghold Legends as free build. I'll keep it in mind though if I ever do any major updating to it.

Yep, I've already made the option for Crusader 1.3 - http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/submit/ (last dropdown box on the page) I could make a category in the Crusader for Stronghold Europe, but I'd rather not create complete versions and sections also for reasons above (plus, they already exist for crusader). As for the download central, I'll give you a brief overview as it differs from Stronghold Heaven's quite a bit; You can click on any download central link on any of our sites (crusader, stronghold 2, legends.etc) and they will all take you to the same place -> http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/. Rather than having separate download sections for separate games, we have combined all of them here (for several reasons - one being administration, another being navigation). You will find SH2 files, SHC as well as all games we cover. To submit a file, go to http://www.stronghold-nation.com/downloads/submit/ and choose the game you wish to submit your file for. You will then be redirected to the page in which you can add info about your file and upload it. We also have a couple of other different things to stronghold heaven - subscriptions. If you like files by one specific user, you can subscribe to them. This means that you will be notified of any further files that user uploads. You can unsubscribe at any time. They are the main differences, comments and reviews work in a similar way. If you need more help, just ask :) I'm about halfway through doing the sub forum, I'll post here when it's ready but obviously you should still get permission first so I'll leave that part up to you. :)

Moved to site questions/support. Welcome to StrongholdNation. Are you referring to the Stronghold Europe mod created by Teutonen Ritter? If so, you should request his permission first before posting or doing anything here. Unfortunately, a forum can't be created here for it because it is not an individual game of it's own, and all games of their own are displayed on the forums index. However, I will create a sub-forum for it in the Crusader & Crusader forum. There is a modification that will allow me to do this and it has been something I've been evading for a while now, but I'm quite happy to add it in. The same goes for the download section for it - it must be a game of it's own with categories of it's own to have a download section. If you wish to upload the mod for it, you must upload it as a stronghold crusader file. If you can tell me any specific problems or issues you have about the downloads system I'll explain those as that statement is pretty general :)
