This mod replaces Vlad the Impaler in skirmish mode with Beowulf. Now the great Anglo-Saxon hero is no longer locked behind custom maps and the legends trail. You can now face him or ally with him on any skirmish map.
This mod also fixes Dietrich's buy/sell bug related to armors and swords.
The zip file contains an English version and a German version of the mod.

After a month I finally figured out how to get this to work. Thank you! This'll be fun. I always loved Beowulf's AI.

Yeah, I also really liked Beowulf and it annoyed me that he wasn't in custom skirmish.
