This is a map of the battlefield of Bouvines, 1214. Part of The Anglo-French Wars, King Philip of France's forces hold the northeast hill and portion of the field. Skirmishers were located in some of the tree areas in the middle.
The English, German and Flemish forces advanced up the road (middle of the map). French forces scored an major victory here.
This is an unscripted invasion map. The Keep has been hidden to allow you to concentrate on troop placement and tactics.
The map is as close as possible to the actual battlefield.
If you are a good scripter, this map may be fun for you.
The terrain on this map is very nice. :)
Sorry for the late response Chris, I keep forgetting to check here!
So glad you liked the landscape!
