Seen in The Middle Ages, a Yeoman was a young man who was attendant to a Royal or Noble Household. They served in different manners. As such, Yeoman were often given an extraordinary amount of trust by their “Masters”. They could serve as Bodyguards and were often given important documents and messages to convey. They were also trained to use the Bow and could serve in Castle or Shire defense when needed. A Yeoman could be ranked under a Gentleman.
