The late Cold War Era US Nuclear Device known as The W-81 (an enhanced radiation device), was a US weapon – deployed in part with The US Navy. The Warhead was deployed by Surface to Air Missile. The Device is seen as being the evolutionary relative of today's ''Cruise'' Missile Systems. The Warhead was actively deployed in The US Inventory from 1980 to 1986. Weighing 300-lbs, The W-81 containment was 12-inches in diameter and produced a 3-KT yield.
