This is the sword of the legendary Scottish King and leader of The Scottish Wars for Independence. A standard 13th Century Longsword, it is plainly unadorned (for a Scottish King). The blade is around 4.5 feet long and is double-edged. Due to it's length, it would not have had a scabbard. It was more than likely carried on the back (via an attaching strap or sleeve cup). The Bruce's battle blade is currently on display at Dunfemline Abbey, Scotland.
