Traced to 15th Century AD Germany, The ''Gladiatoria'' was an extensive series of training manuals used to teach/instruct in all them forms of warfare, with an emphasis in armored tactics. The manuals also detailed the proper usage of weapons and martial forms for the often brutal ''Judicial Duels''. The surviving manuals have greatly detailed illustrations of proper armor (of the period) as wells as weapons used. Stances and tactics are likewise shown and discussed in great detail. The Gladiatorial is considered one of the most comprehensive martial training books of the Late Middle Ages.
