The Soviet made Degtyaryov 7.62mm Light Machine Gun was an Infantry Squad weapon which saw extensive service during World War II and can still be found in service today with several Middle Eastern Terrorist Organizations. The effective and very reliable DP-27 (as it is better known), was first produced in 1928. Weighing 20-lbs and being 50-inches in length – The DP-27 could fire 550-rpm (from a Drum-fed Clip) with an effective range of over 2,000-yards. Crewed by (2), The DP-27 is easily maintained, which is a tribute to it's long life with Service Armies.
