Sea Serpent

Often misnamed (more appropriately called a “Marine Serpent”), this beast is a very common feature in Heraldry. They are often portrayed as Green (scaled), more often curved and twisted. They are seen with Sea Service motifs. They are also seen as early as the 6th Century in many Icelandic Nations (particularly popular in some Norse styles)
