Probably no more than a "propaganda" weapon, the mythical sword Precueuse was said to have been commissioned and owned by yet another possible mythical ruler - the Emir of Baligant of Babylon. Legend states that upon hearing of Charlemagne having "Joyeuse" commissioned, he had this sword made. Possibly of the Shamshir or Scimitar variety, the legend goes back to the 8th Century. Being the sword of an Emir would mean that it would be quite elaborate and embellished. If Precueuse existed, it was stolen and lost - centuries ago.
