Another image used to impart “Sincerity”, The use of The Moon (much like The Sun), is quite old and goes back into Antiquity. In most examples, The Moon was seen mostly in Central Europe around the 14th Century (and was not popular, not being seen in use generally after). Most tincture was natural – with White or Gray being the two prime colors.
