The Lugger was a popular vessel seen long the many Coasts and Inlets of England, Scotland and Ireland. Small and concealable ships, they ranged from 15 to 40 feet in length. Luggers were often armed with 2 small Swivel Cannons. They featured 1 to 2 Masts. Luggers were excellent vessels for transporting "cargo" (treasure) to secluded locations. In some cases, Lugger's were painted all Black or Dark Red  (including sails). Thus aided in their ability to "blend in".
