The Sword of The Wolf Slayer, this was the symbol of power for King Ferdinand III (Castile). Made for him in 1217, he wanted a sword for his royal symbol (unlike the traditional rod and orb). Roughly a combination of Straight and Arming Sword, Lobera's blade is 30-35 inches in length. It has a single edge. Legend has it that Ferdinand (on his deathbed), passed it on the Prince Juan Manuel. Lobera is currently in possession of The Cathedral of Seville, Spain.
