A Parliamentarian Force composed of Irish Volunteers, Lord Kerry's Regiment fought in (4) Major Battles of The English Civil War and several moderate Skirmishes with Loyalist Forces. They were raised in 1642. The Regiment was decimated at The Battle of Nasby in 1645. The Regiment was identified by an unusual multi-colored “Gyronic” patterned Flag. It featured a Field of (4) Black Gyrons with (4) Red Gyrons placed in a geometric pattern, throughout. The Upper Left Canton was White with The Cross of St. George. The Colors were carried by (6) Companies.
