Yet another ''Manchukuo'' (North China Made) Imperial Japanese firearm, The North China Type 19 Sidearm, was a 22mm Automatic weapon – based in part on the famed Nambu Type 14 (as well as Germany's Luger). Only 100 known production Models were produced directly in Northern China between 1944 and the end of World War II in 1945. Most were issued to Junior Field Officers. The Type 19 was heavy at close to 3-lbs. And fired the 22mm round to nearly 100-meters. (8) rounds were held in the Bolt Blowback, gas-operated firearm's handle. Rare, to date – only (11) have survived to today.
