''Haruspex'' was a form of Ancient Roman Divination – by which a trained Priest or Priestess ''read'' the Future by discerning the entrails of specific animals (sheep and Poultry being preferred). The Practice was first devised by The Etruscan of the 7th Century BC. Liver, Kidney and Intestines were used most often. Color, venous configuration and placement were all used for determination of future events. Haruspex was carried to The Middle Ages – as practiced by Folk Healers and related. This was done in secret due to the influence of Christianity as opposed to Paganism.
