''Violet Club'' was The British Code Name for it;s first ''high yield'' Nuclear Device, deployed during The Cold War. Developed in 1954 as a result of The Soviet Union's ''Joe 4'' Device, ''Violet Club'' was roughly 15-feet in length with a 5-foot radius. The Atomic yield was rated at 720-KT. The Class is considered a Fission weapon (Uranium) and not a true Thermonuclear Device. Designed to be Gravity deployed at 3,500-feet by Conventional and Jet Bombers, ''Violet Club'' was very expensive to produce. Exact numbers produced are still unknown, but The Class of weapon was pulled from inventory in 1958.
