In The Islamic Religion, ''Zabaniyya'' were the Christian equivalent of The ''Demons of Hell'' who torment Sinners in The Afterlife. Unlike Angels, who were ''born of Light'', The Zabaniyya were ''born of Fire''. They are most portrayed as the Element of Fire, or a more traditional hideous Demon with ''fire issuing from their mouth''. Some later Islamic version identify The Zabaniyya as a type of ''Shadow Being'' formless, that come for those who are evil and die, escorting them to their just eternal torment. Arabic Cultural mythos states that The Zarabiyya often fight with ''Angels of Mercy'' in The Heavens causing thunder.
