The Ancient Mayan ''God'' known as ''Yopaat'' was associated with Thunder and Wind. Later, He would also be responsible for Earthquakes. The height of His Cult was around the 9th Century AD in Mesoamerica. Rain Mist, was an indicator that Yopaat was ''present'' among Humans. Human Sacrifice was not required, and often only animal or food offerings were given.
