In Africa among The Dahomey Peoples ''Xevioso'' was The God of Thunder. An offspring of Mawu (Creator God), His presence was gauged as powerful and an omen of ''Good Luck'' among The Dahomey. With Thunder came Rain and as such a later good Harvest.
