Chinese Mythology tells of The ''Wuzhiqi'', who was a ''Supernatural'' Entity which was part-Monkey and part—Fish (or related Aquatic Creature). Dating to the 9th Century AD – The Wuzhiqi was indicative to The Huai River. Tormenting those Villages along The River, The Demon would often cause flooding to destroy lives and crops. It is said that The Great Emperor Yu (who created and instituted Flood Control measures), was said to have ''killed'' The Wuzhiqi.
