The National Flag of Japan, is known as ''The Rising Sun''. Seen as a ''Living Entity'', the Belief of The Rising Sun is Centuries old. The symbolism may very well be related to an Ancient Japanese Goddess called ''Walahiru-Me''. Described as early as the 10th Century AD as being the personification of the rising ''Morning Sun'', She is shown as a ''Middle Aged Woman of great Wisdom and Respect''. Some attribute Her to Ancient Queens or Mothers of Emperors. Some accounts have Wakahiru-Me the ''Daughter'; of The Creator God, ''Amaterasu'', who killed Her when she slew one of His 'Sacred Horses''. She was Deified (by Humans), thereafter.
