Relating to Ancient Roman Legends, ''Venefica Sorceresses'' were possibly Herbalists (even Witches), who specialized in the creation of poisons. First mentioned around 500 BC, The Venefica were said to have been Slave Girls who at an early age, began to consume small amounts of known poisons (plant and herb). As they grew to Womanhood they developed a natural resistance to any such known. Said to have been recruited to create ''exotic and undetectable'' poisons (which were used for assassination no doubt), The Venefica suffered from a curse rom their talents. It was said no Man could ''physically love them'', as doing so meant their own demise (even their sweat was poisonous to Man).
