The Northern Spanish Cantabrian Peoples have a mythology involving Creatures known as The Trenti. Possibly related to The European ''Goblin''- Trenti are said to so resemble mushrooms found in forests, that they are often mistaken as such. The Trenti have a malicious side as well. The like to maintain their pretense of mushroom appearance and wait for unsuspecting Humans to bend down to pick them. They them ''jump up'' or ''run away'' so as to scare their victim. Often running away, the Human will fall or trip, hurting themselves (much to the delight of The Trenti).
