From Inuit (Alaskan) Native Legends – The ''Tizheruk'' was a 6-foot ''Serpent Beast'' who was noted for snatching His victims (quickly) from Shore. As such, The Inuit taught their young to never stand too close to Shore for fear of being taken (and of course consumed). Impossible to catch, do to it's great speed, Tizheruk was envisioned as a ''Water Demon''.
