''Terpsichore'' was an Ancient Greek Goddess – identified as one of The 9 Muses of Man. As with Her Sisters, She invoked the ability in Man to construct great Music and Dance. Terpsichore was also Mother to ''The Sirens'' – those Female Daemons who could lure Sailors to their deaths, merely by singing. She was portrayed in ancient Art as a ''beautiful, young woman'' often ''skipping and jumping'' as if to ''beautiful Music''. The Lyre (a stringed instrument) was also associated with Her.
