The God of Thunder in Celtic Mythology, Taranis (with His Cult dating to 3,300 BC) is also associated with giving The Wheel to Man. He was similar in attributes to Zeus, in that Taranis ''created The Earth'' and Man. He was also a '''Blood God'', in that Human Sacrifice was made as a means of appeasing His wrath. Once so dispatched, the bodies of His sacrifices were burnt, with ashes being a further offering.
