A component of Ancient Greek Mythology, ''Stymphalian Birds'' – were ''flesh eating'' Bird-like Monsters which lived in the cirsed Swamps of Stymphalia (Arcadia, Greece). With beaks made of bronze and feathers of metal, they could ''shred'' a victim simply by ''diving'' on them. Their fecal matter was quite poisonous and was ''coveted'' as an effective poison for use on arrows.Said to have been the ''pets'' of The God Artemis, The Birds were finally vanquished by The Hero Hercules during one of His ''Labors'' (Quests), according to Ancient writings.
