Prithvi

Hindu (as well as several other Religious belief systems) identify the name ''Prithvi'' as a Goddess who is the personification of The Planet Earth. Some later versions show Prithvi as an Elephant (a sacred animal). Portrayed as a ''Beautiful Woman'', Her icon image (when fashioned), was among the first ''kept'' in Family Homes as a form of worship. She was the Wife of Varaha, another powerful Hindu Deity.
