Another Legend which was part-French Colonial and African in nature – ''Phantome'' was a fixture on The Island of Trinidad and Tabago, and meant to be avoided. An ''Evil Spirit'', Phantome lived at major crossroads. He was said to be a ''Tall and ominous Spectre'', ''All Black'' with ''long arms and even longer hands and fingers''. Seeing Him at a Crossroads means that One is being ''tested'' and He or She should avoid any confrontation. To ignore Phantome, mean He would attack you, using His long and spidery legs to trap and crush you. After this, Phantome would take your Soul to The Underworld to suffer. Most active during The Lunar (Full Moon) Cycle, without any Moonlight, Phantome will not appear.
