From Greek Mythology – ''Oceanus'' comes from The Age of Titans, before The Olympian Gods. As we have seen, it was they that rules the Heavens and Universe before their climatic battle with The Olympians (and their downfall). Oceanus was the Son of Uranus and was seen as The Good of Water (Rivers) and all life therein. It was said that a Great ''River in The Heavens'' circled The Earth. It was from, this that rain fell to The Earth. Oceanus ensured this did not run ''dry''. His daughters were Nymph-like creatures known as Oceanids. They served Oceanus and carried out His wishes. Later, much of His origins and traits would be absorbed into the later Greek God – Poseidon.
