In The Mythology of several West African Peoples, ''Nana Buluku'' is envisioned as The ''Supreme Being'' or ''Creator Goddess''.She gave birth to The Universe (The Sun and The Moon). She is portrayed in Art as a ''stout woman'' (seen as good luck among Tribes), and also a ''Mother'' image. Offerings of various kinds to Her aid in intercessions from ''lesser'' Deities seen as necessary among The Tribes, for fortune in Conflict, everyday Life and warding off ''Evil''. Nana was also adopted into many Caribbean Nations that practice Voodoo, Hoodoo and Santeria.
