Dating to the 7th Century AD – The ''Naga'' was a Hindi Creature, which was part Serpent and part Human. They were said to live throughout The Country in Lakes and Rivers. Naga's have many ''sub-sects'', some Good – others Evil. They control water sources, and were said to be descended from The Gods. The Naga features prominently in many Hindu volumes of literature (to include Poetry). As Deities, The Naga can be found in carvings and statuary throughout The Country.
