Another of Nubia's (Africa) ''Creationist'' Gods – the name of ''Mandulis'' is actually the Ancient Greek translation. ''His'' actual name is unknown (although ''Melul'' is most commonly accepted.). As an ''Origins'' Deity, Mandulis is often portrayed as a hybrid of Hawk with a Human head. Seen as living in ''The Sun'', this made Mandulis Divine. The Early Egyptian Kingdoms of The Upper Nile adopted Mendulis as a ''Chief God'' and Rome even incorporated Mandulis into their Pantheon during The Reign of The Ptolemies (30 BC).
