Possibly an ''origin Species'' of the iconic Ancient Greek Creature known as The Centaur (a half-man, half-Equine Entity), The Ipotane were almost identical in appearance. In difference, The Ipotane had their Horse ''attachments'' from the Upper Chest and Head only. Later, when they ''morphed'' into the mythos of Centaur, this was changed to Equine features ''below'' The Torso only. In tales, The Ipotane was seen as malevolent (more or less), but some were recruited to serve as Mercenary ''soldiers'' in many epic tales and Greek Plays. The Ipotane was said to skilled as an Archer.
