From Finnish Origins, ''Iku-Turso'' was a Sea Monster Mythos which had several attributes. From the 7th Century AD, ''He'' was seen as a Creature which looked somewhat like an Octopus and Mermaid (Fin Folk). Meaning ''Ink Fish'', Iku-Turso also was associated with disease. The Monster was used in several Literary Tales, normally as an ''Evil Being'' which when defeated – brought ''great honor'' to many Epic Heroes in Finland.
