''Flora'' was The Ancient Roman Goddess which was the personification of Flowers and the Season known as Spring. She was also another ''Fertility Goddess'', associated with ''renewal of Life''. She was portrayed as a ''beautiful Young Woman'' who is surrounded by Flowers and components of Nature. Well adhered to throughout most of Roman History, ''Flora'' had many Temples and Priests assigned to Her Cult. During Her Ritual and Feast (April to May), both Men and Women wore great collections of flowers on their person as Her honor. She would also be associated with the much later Western European association with ''Mother Nature''.
