A specialized version of a Jewish Vampire The Estries were linked to The Succubus Demon. While they have fangs and drink the blood of Humans, they are not like the traditional Vampire Mythos. The Estries hunt at night, but are able to exist in daylight (after a period of rest). Further, they can enter Holy Places (Temples) and Pray. The Estries have a particular hatred for pregnant women and babies. Whereas Estries are Demons (and never Human), it is thought that because of this they cannot become Mothers. Much like their European vampiric ''Cousins'' The Estries can be killed by wooden stakes, silver bullets and Holy Water.
