A Mesopotamnian Deity, ''Enlil'' was seen by that Culture as a ''Foundation'' between The ''Earth and Moon''. So powerful in fact, that only ''other Gods'' were allowed to gaze upon Him. When porrayed in Ancient Art, Enlil was shown as a King upon a Throne (Ruler). He would be adopted into Babylonian Religion as ''Marduk''.
