Eldolon

The concept of an ''Eldolon'' is relative to Ancient Greece. Similar to The European Doppelganger is some respects, these were Spirits that were ''generated'' by both the ''living'' Soul of a person or ''phantom'' of a dead one. The origins are unclear, which makes The Eldolon – according to Scholars, more the creation of Ancient Writers using them to illustrate concepts in tales. The Eldolon were (unlike their Germanic ''Cousins''), not necessarily evil or trying to ''replace'' their ''living'' counterparts.
