Aztec Mythos, tells the tale of ''Coxcox'' – said to be the only Male survivor of a ''Great Deluge'' which enveloped The World, destroying all life. Only Coxcox and His Wife were left. During the catastrophe, they hollowed out a large tree, and fashioned it into a boat. After floating for many weeks, the waters shrank away, leaving Coxcox and His Wife on Mount Culhuacan. As the only Humans left, they began to re-populate The Earth. But all of their children were mute and could not speak. The Great Creator took pity, and sent a Dove to teach the children two different languages. These children would go on to form The Aztecs and The Toltec Peoples.
