''Coats of Skin''

The term ''Coats of Skin'' is applied to The Judaic and Christian explanation for Adam and Eve's (The First Man and Woman), being given their first ''clothes'', after their being ''cast out'' from The Garden of Eden. This, as is well known – was due to their disobedience to God, by consuming the ''Forbidden Fruit''. In doing so, Adam and Eve were given ''wisdom and knowledge''. They also realized that their ''nakedness'' was ''shameful'' to them. God, after removing them from Paradise, ''clothed them'' in the ''Skins of Animals'' and gave them the knowledge of how to procure others thru hunting and skinning.
