Dating to perhaps the 12th Century AD and of Slavic Origins ''Chernobog'' is a little written of (or discovered as yet) ''God'' seen by some as The God of Darkness (and Death). He is sometimes referred to as ''The Black God''. Opposite to the similar Slavic Deity ''Belobog'' (or ''White'' God), He is the cause of misery, death and destruction. His origins are thought to be rooted in Paganism. Often, when using demonic reference in Medieval Slavic writings, ''Chernobog'' is cited. He is also portrayed as Humanoid, with large Black Bat Wings and Horns. He also associated disease.
