The Mayan God ''Chaac'' was The God of Rain. According to Mythos, Thunder and Lightning came from His ''massive Axe'', which He cleaved into The Clouds to create Rain. At His Cult Worship peak in the 16th Century AD, Chaac would also be adopted into Aztec Mythology as well. As part of His Ritual, specially selected young boys were chossen to climb to the top of His Temple and assume stances like Frogs. They spent hours ''croaking'' to The Heavens, in the hopes of Chaac would hear them and produce rain.
