Cabrakan

Mayan Mythology describes ''Cabrakan'' as a Protector of various scared Mountains. Man is not allowed to venture to these features or to take anything from them. If Man disobeys, Cabrakan can summon earthquakes to destroy those who do. He was a common ''cautionary tale'' told to invading Europeans who sought to Mine Gold and other precious minerals from such ''Holy Locations''.
