Many Germanic Nation of Pagan Religious origins, have a Mythos regarding Biersal. Seen as The God of Alcoholic Spirits, Biersal watched over it's production and storage. Traditionally, One had to make an offering of a glass of unconsumed Wine or Beer to Him, else the barrel or cask it came from would spoil. Similar to many Greek and Roman Gods of similar abilities, Biersal is shown in Art as a Sprite – or small Troll-like Spirit.
