A Scottish ''Legend'' found then decried as a Hoax, The ''Bare Fronted Hoodwink'' was claimed to be a species of Bird, ''discovered'' in 1950. Part Crow, Plover and the feet of another unknown bird it was this ''taxidermist dream''. The name was devised from the bird having no feather (bare breasted). It's ''capture'' and passing off to The Ornithological World, created a stir (akin to the extinct ''Dodo''). Quickly determined a Hoax, the cleverness of the ''creation'' is still displayed in Edinburgh, Scotland.
