Worshiped as a deity in many Polynesian Cultures – ''Atua'' is a God of ''Power and Strength''. For Men, He was worshiped to bring them ''masculine traits'' and in Females, strength as was needed for Women in such tasks as child bearing. Atua was one of the Six Gods of Creation.
