Or ''The Blue Priest'', is a Japanese Yokai from which ''His'' origins are wide and varied. The exact nature of The Curse which creates Aobozu is not specific. He is said to to protect Nature – in particular Trees, keeping Children from working in Rice Fields, as well – in some Regions of Japan, a ''Mountain God''. The Aobozu reside in abandoned Houses, which become their ''haunts''. In recent years, Japanese Horror Literature and Film make The Aobozu a type of Demon, intent of stealing The Souls of the unwary. He is shown, since The Feudal Era, as clothed in Blue Robes with a single Eye in the middle of His Face.
